Manchester City in advanced talks for Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo – sources

Manchester City is in advanced negotiations to trigger the £65 million ($87.6m) release clause for Bournemouth’s standout winger Antoine Semenyo.

The 25-year-old Ghana international is expected to finalize terms before the clause expires on January 10.

Semenyo has been in blistering form this season, netting nine goals in 17 Premier League appearances, leading City to move ahead of rivals like Manchester United and Liverpool.

In a corresponding move to balance the squad, City is reportedly prepared to sanctioned the exit of Oscar Bobb, while also confirming that Argentinian starlet Claudio Echeverri will pivot to Girona on loan after his spell at Bayer Leverkusen was cut short.
